Self Coach1 - 1 month program: Receive a 1 month individualized program, written in advance with specific fitness or race orientated goals in mind. This program includes a goal planning discussion and a post goal meeting for guidance/feedback via phone or email as well as access to trainingpeaks for one month. $100

 

                                       

Self Coach3 - 3 month program: Receive a 3 month individualized program written in advance with specific fitness or race orientated goals in mind. This program includes a goal planning discussion, once monthly communication and a post goal meeting for guidance and feedback via phone or email as well as access to trainingpeaks for three months. $285

 

 

Dedicated Athlete Program – Monthly: The entry level into a coach/athlete relationship with unlimited communication.  Receive an individualized program written month to month that includes an initial goal planning discussion, one review and modification per month if necessary, twice a month analysis of heart rate/power files, unlimited communication with a 24-72hr response time, as well as access to trainingpeaks with a premium account each month. $225/month (Ben Day) or $180/month (David Betts)

 

 

Professional Program – Monthly: For those wanting more flexibility and fine detailing of their training with unlimited communication.  Receive an individualized program written month to month that includes an initial goal planning discussion, up to 4 reviews and modifications per month if necessary, weekly analysis of heart rate/power files, unlimited communication with a 24-72hr response time, as well as access to trainingpeaks with a premium account each month. $275/month (Ben Day) or $220/month (David Betts)

 

 

DaybyDay Program - Monthly: The ultimate level in Coach/Athlete interaction, flexibility and performance. Your individualized training program is written monthly to align you with your own personal fitness or race orientated goals, receive unlimited reviews and program modifications, analysis of power/heart rate files 3 times per week, as well as access to trainingpeaks with a premium account each month. $350/month (Ben Day) or $280/month (David Betts)

These different coaching levels have been designed to cater for everyone’s needs and all the coaches at DaybyDay Cycle Coaching coach under the proven philosophies developed by head coach, Ben Day.  At any time, the DaybyDay coaches can be contacted in order to customize any coaching program.  Each of these programs are highly individualized for the athlete, written, using our experiences as successful professional cyclists and coaches at the elite level.  We will listen to your needs and your feedback, give you educated advice, and help you to make calculated decisions on which direction your training and cycling pursuits needs to take. Further to this, the DaybyDay Cycle Coaching portal will help to educate you in various ways to further your fitness and knowledge of your body. We will be there to push you and motivate you, and to congratulate you on achieving your successes.

 

The common definer amongst the majority of coaching companies is coaching levels based upon communication length.  I have come to the realization that this is not the way I want to have DaybyDay Cycle Coaching coaches work with athletes.  Communication is the key behind any successful coach-athlete relationship and this needs to be made available as necessary.  The DaybyDay levels are based on the amount of flexibility required by the athlete, response time, and the frequency of the review of training files.  The higher the level, the more fine tuning that is available to the athlete, resulting in the best gains and fairness for all. 

 

The most comprehensive tool for cycle training is a power meter. DaybyDay Cycle Coaching encourage everyone, if they have the means, to purchase one of these systems and you can consult with us on what is best for your individual needs.  Visit the DaybyDay Cycle Coaching online shop (coming soon!) to get a great deal on a power meter or any other performance product necessary to an endurance athlete.  Each athlete must have at least a heart rate monitor.
